June 2025 competition with the set subject being "Negative Space".
The definition of the set subject was given as:
"Negative space photography is related to minimalist photography. Negative Space emphasises not just the subject, but the empty space around the subject. The viewer’s eyes may be drawn to a central figure, but they can’t help noticing the large section of emptiness that surrounds and defines that figure.
Negative Space is the area which surrounds the main subject in your photo (the main subject is known as the "positive space)."
